Hi, I'm Brit Silveira.

I started California Roping because I was a beginner, and had no idea where to start.

Dally. Slack. Finished horse. Dummy. Sled. Those were the words that I was told over and over but didn't have a clue as to where I could find their meaning. So I did what most people do; I relied on social media for opinions.

I did it the hard way for a couple of years and learned a lot of lessons! I went through my fair share of horses, bought a lot of ropes, worked with more than a handful of trainers, signed up for all of the online coaching programs, participated in clinics, etc. To sum it all up; I spent a lot of money.

This was all done before I even entered my first jackpot!

My personal journey was years long but I have learned enough that I want to help others. Beginners are my passion, and I want to help others avoid some of the (sometimes costly!) mistakes that I made.

California Roping is continuously growing and expanding because of passionate people who love the sport as much as I do. I am forever grateful to those who continue to help California Roping LLC and myself!
